2011 Mosaic Workshops Calendar

This is the first piece installed this year, in Los Osos, California.

I will be happy to assist anyone attending the workshop in creating an address piece. The first Mosaic Workshop this year will be in the desert on February 12 and 13. The workshop is $150, this includes all the materials. Learn the basics. Take part in a huge grouting project on-site and take a finished piece of work home.
Create an address for your home or a design of your own choice. Bring your broken china or ceramics with you or dig in the boneyard for broken tiles and pottery. If you need to spend the night, we can make arrangements for you. Please sign up early and make your reservation before space fills up. See you in wOnder valley, Perry
Spring workshop in the desert is April 16th and 17th. Summer workshop in Santa Barbara on Aug 20th and 21st. Fall workshop in the desert on Oct 1st and 2nd. Sign up early and make a date!!! Reserve your SPACE !!!

Tools:
Nippers (flat head for tile/round wheels for glass)
Tweezers
Rags
For matte tiles or sea glass use a tile sealer or use vinegar to clean the tiles after grouting.
Always wear a mask and goggles when mixing grout. Grout is highly toxic when it is dry.
Bucket
Gloves
Adhesive/ Mastic or Weld Bond or ThinSet for anything outdoors or near water.

As you can see here you’ll be working, breathing, stretching and eating in this portal of colour and pattern. I have been working feverishly into the wee hours over the last 17 days to finish the mosaic beacon, portal, living room here in wOnder valley.
